HE CAME TO SHOW US WHO WE ARE

Once again the season has arrived when the world celebrates what they believe is the birthday of our precious Lord Jesus Christ. Even though most of us are aware that Dec. 25th is not the day Jesus came into this world via His earthly mother, Mary, we should take this opportunity to reflect upon His life and share the truth of why He really came to planet earth.

Even though the fact of His birth cannot be denied, an intense debate among theologians continues from the first century regarding His miraculous birth and all the miracles in the years that have followed; especially the three and one half years of His loving ministry. In spite of all the proofs, there have been doubts and unbelief from the very beginning. Even at the time of His ascension to heaven, Luke tells us that as they saw Him rise in the air and ascend to heaven, "some doubted." And this in the face of "many convincing demonstrations---unquestionable evidence and infallible proofs---appearing to them during forty days, and talking to them about the things of the kingdom." Acts 1:3. So, there seems to be those who will have to go through the lake of fire before they will become believers.

In spite of this opposition Jesus has always had a loyal following, known as the Christian Church, which has grown and prospered through the centuries, claiming today over one quarter of the world's population. Yet, within the Christian community itself, one finds many opinions regarding the nature of Christ and what He expects of those who become His followers. It will be our objective in this study to learn who Jesus really was, what He was like and His ultimate purpose and objective for coming to this dark world.

"Who was Jesus?" many are still asking today. This is no mystery because He made it clear from the beginning of His ministry who He was. His mother no doubt told Him as soon as He could understand what Gabriel had announced to her...that the baby boy conceived in her womb was to be named Jesus. "He shall be great, and shall be called the 'Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto Him the throne of His father David. And He shall reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there shall be no end." Luke 1:31-33. Later the angels told the shepherds that the baby they would find in a manger in Bethlehem was "CHRIST THE LORD."

One wonders how many motels the shepherds had to check out before they finally found Jesus in the manger with Mary and Joseph. Jeremiah tells us that only those who persevere find Jesus. "Ye shall search for me and find Me when ye shall search for Me with all your heart." Jer. 29:13.

Later Simeon and Anna both confirmed that Jesus truly was the Promised One. Luke 2:25-38. So, within the first eight days of His birth, there were plenty of testimonies and witnesses for anyone who had even the slightest inclination to want to believe, to say nothing of Gabriel's announcement to Zechariah (John the Baptist's father) in the very sanctuary itself. Because he expressed doubt to the angel Gabriel, Zechariah was not permitted to speak until the baby was born. Luke 1:22-24 tells us that when the angel finally finished talking to Zechariah he came out of the temple where the people were wondering what was taking him so long. "When he finally came out, he couldn't speak to them, and they realized from his gestures that he must have seen a vision in the temple." When he finished his allotted time of service he returned home to Elizabeth with no power to voice anymore doubts about what God was doing in his life. From then until the baby was born his only method of communication was with pen and paper.

The experience of Zechariah and later the doubting disciple, Thomas, reveals to us today the kind and loving way God deals with those who are slow to believe and hard to convince. His merciful kindness knows no bounds as we see Him on the cross pleading even for those who were crucifying Him, "Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do." Luke 23:34. Peter referred to this in Acts 3:17. "And now, brethren, I wot (know) that through ignorance you did it, as did also your rulers." And then Peter asked them to "repent therefore and return, that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord; and that He may send Jesus, the Christ appointed for you, whom heaven must receive until the period of restoration of all things about which God spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets from ancient time." NAS . The NEB uses the phrase "UNIVERSAL RESTORATION." Some call it "Universal Reconciliation." Now, lest we miss the full meaning of what God is telling us through Peter, let us read on: "Moses said, The Lord God shall raise up for you a prophet like me from your brethren; to Him you shall give heed in everything He says to you. 'And it shall be that every soul that does not heed that prophet shall be utterly destroyed from among the people.'" (Please notice that Moses is just one of the prophetic voices from the past who predicted the coming of the Messiah. Now, Peter goes on to give more proof that Jesus was indeed the Promised One). "And likewise, all the prophets who have spoken, from Samuel and his successors onward, also announced these days, It is you who are the sons of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with your fathers, saying to Abraham, 'And in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed. For you first, God raised up His Servant (Jesus), and sent Him to bless you by turning every one of you from your wicked ways." Acts 3:21-26. This was a most powerful and daring speech made by the same disciple who had just recently denied Christ at his trial. But Peter was a changed man. He had repented, been forgiven and assured by Jesus Himself that he was still his disciple. A few weeks or perhaps months (Luke does not say) earlier on the day of Pentecost Peter had spoken similar words which resulted in the baptism of 3,000 new believers. The authorities did not threaten, harass, arrest or put any of them in jail then. But (later) this speech landed Peter and the disciples in jail. But the very next verse tells us that 5,000 men believed. Luke does not specify if this 5,000 included the 3,000 earlier converts or was 5,000 more which would have made a total of 8,000 converts in a short span of time. In either case the point is that this marvelous success was a direct result of the early rain. Today we are looking forward to the Latter Rain, which we have been told will far exceed what happened on the day of Pentecost, for it will be world wide.

Many sermons have been preached about what the church needs to do so the Latter Rain can be poured out. Yet, in all the years I have been listening to various talks on this topic I have never once heard anyone refer to the actual context of Peter's sermon as the reason and basis for all the success that followed. Much emphasis has been placed upon the "gift of tongues" as a prerequisite for a repeat success. So far, only the Pentecostal church claims to have received this particular gift. Most members of this group emphasize that the speaking in tongues is not actually a "known" language but an "unknown" tongue. This particular doctrinal interpretation has probably caused as much or more strife and division in the Christian church than anything else I can think of. Even a casual reader of the book of Acts could figure out from Acts 2:8-11 that the tongues spoken that day were real, extant languages existing and being spoken at that time because there are 19 different language groups listed. Besides that the word "Unknown" which the King James translators inserted in front of the word "tongue" is a supplied word and not even found in the original Greek. What was intended to "clarify" has ended up confusing people, which only goes to show what happens when you tamper with God's word even with the intention of "improving" it. But laying that topic aside for another day, let's take a second look at the words Peter actually spoke that day which the Holy Spirit was able to use so mightily to convert hearts.

There are three main issues we need to examine. The first one is repentance. Peter told the Jewish people in Jerusalem that they needed to repent of their sins, especially the sin of rejecting and crucifying Jesus, whom Peter categorically stated had fulfilled all of the prophecies to the letter and was the Promised Messiah and the ultimate proof was that Jesus had been raised from the dead and had been exalted to sit on the throne of the Eternal God in heaven itself. Everyone in the crowd listening knew exactly what he was talking about. Jesus' death by crucifixion and His resurrection were on every one's mind and tongue. Many of the saints from past ages had been raised to life and immortality from their dusty tombs and appeared to many throughout Jerusalem. Their testimony was proof beyond question that Jesus also had risen and was indeed the Promised One. Those who had seen them with their own eyes and heard them testify that Jesus truly was the Messiah could not be kept silent.

Secondly, Peter and the disciples made it very clear that even though they had committed this terrible crime of killing their own Messiah that He was ready and willing to forgive them, as Jesus Himself prayed on the cross. So, there you have the preaching of a loving and merciful God who is not out for revenge or punishment. God does not kill or destroy. If He were that kind of God all the Jews who had any part in killing Him would have been destroyed before Peter even got up to preach.

Thirdly, and perhaps most importantly, Peter emphasized what He said was a very ancient doctrine, one that had been preached "by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began." Acts 3:21. He called it "UNIVERSAL RESTORATION." The KJV referred to it as the "Restitution of all things." Same idea. Since the fall of 1976 I have been sharing the concept of God's character, that "God destroys no man." COL 84. Although thousands have accepted this wonderful message and have had their lives changed and renewed by this thrilling revelation, the majority have either never heard it, didn't understand it or rejected the idea.

Peter's call to repentance the men of Israel on the day of Pentecost, Acts 2, and later in Acts 3, constituted an invitation to the Wedding Feast or Wedding Supper of the Lamb. Jesus spoke in parables about the Marriage Feast or Wedding Supper in Matthew 22 and Luke 14. Also, Christ among the candlesticks, gave a more personal invitation to the church of our day, Laodicea when He said: "Behold I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with Me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in His throne. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches." Rev. 3:20, 21. The first invitation was given by the Old Testament prophets to ancient Israel who rejected every call. Subsequent calls were made by John the Baptist, Jesus Himself for three and half years and then the disciples until A.D. 34 when Stephen was stoned. Only a few accepted the invitation and put on the wedding garment which represents a pure and righteous character which can only be obtained by a close relationship with Jesus through daily prayer and study of His Word to learn and absorb/receive His true character which He gives to all who ask Him. "By the wedding garment in the parable is represented the pure, spotless character which Christ's true followers will possess. To the church (Remnant or elect) it is given 'that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white,' 'not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing.' Rev. 19:8. The fine linen, says the Scripture, 'is the righteousness of saints.' Eph. 5:27. It is the righteousness of Christ, His own unblemished character, that through faith is imparted to all who receive Him as their personal Saviour." COL 310. In the beginning Adam and Eve were covered with a pure robe of light, indicative of their innocence and perfect conformity to the will of God. "A beautiful soft light, the light of God, enshrouded the holy pair. This robe of light was a symbol of their spiritual garments of heavenly innocence." COL 310, 311.

In the parable the King checks out those who have come to the party and greets them to make sure everyone has received the appropriate attire which the King Himself provided for every guest. When the guest accepted this wedding garment he was showing honor and respect for both the King, His son and this important occasion. This inspection, as it were, symbolizes the time of the investigative judgment which we know has been going on since 1844. It also is referred to as "going over the records or books." The commentary has this insightful comment: "The man without a wedding garment represents professed Christians who feel no need of a transformation of character. This guest was apparently interested only in the privilege of eating of the king's bounties. He did not truly appreciate the privilege accorded him. The honor of the king and the importance of the occasion meant nothing to him. He forgot that the feast was being held in honor of the king's son, and thus of the king himself. How well clad he may have been was beside the point. For he had declined the only thing that qualified him to sit at the king's table and enjoy the festivities and bountiful provisions that accompanied the wedding celebration. The king approached the offending guest tactfully and gave him ample opportunity to defend his course of action. Apparently the king was ready to forgive the man if his present condition was not his own fault, of if by some oversight on the part of the palace servants he had been missed." BC 480. The response of the man who had no wedding garment was an embarrassing silence. The phrase "was speechless," is from the Greek word phimoo meaning "to muzzle or to make speechless." He was without excuse because he had refused the wedding garment offered to him by the king's servants (preachers, teachers, colporteurs, etc.) Therefore his error was intentional. He may have been wearing an expensive new garment he wanted everyone to notice and considered this attire (self-righteousness) superior to that which the king offered.

In Matthew 25 we find that the parable of the Ten Virgins illustrates the same Wedding scenario. Five of the virgins are said to be wise and five are foolish. In this parable a time element is introduced. "At midnight the cry is heard, 'Behold, the bridegroom cometh: go ye out to meet him.'" Jesus "told His disciples the story of the ten virgins, by their experience illustrating the experience of the church that shall live just before the second coming." COL 406. It is in this parable and the comments by EGW that we really get down to the nitty gritty of what constitutes being ready for Christ's coming. In Matt. 24:4 we find the leading sign of the end in Jesus' answer to the disciples' question "what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? And Jesus answered and said unto them, 'Take heed that no man deceive you.'" Paul amplified this further: "But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived." 2 Tim. 3:13. Now, let us watch very carefully how this works when we look at three scenarios regarding the trial and crucifixion of Jesus. First, let's take Judas.

In "Desire of Ages," beginning with page 716 the character of Judas is clearly delineated for us. What caused him to sell the Lord of glory to ignominy and death? "Judas had naturally a strong love for money; but he had not always been corrupt enough to do such a deed as this. He had fostered the evil spirit of avarice until it had become the ruling motive of his life. The love of mammon overbalanced his love for Christ. Through becoming the slave of one vice he gave himself to Satan, to be driven to any lengths in sin." DA 716. It is amazing that if Judas had died before the last supper no one would ever have known his true character and the abhorrence which has followed him through the centuries would never have existed. But his life was allowed to follow its fated course, due to his own choice, as an example to all following generations, especially in this final hour. What is so shocking to me is what the author of "Desire of Ages" says about Judas on page 717. "He (Judas) felt in his own person the evidence of Christ's power. He recognized the teaching of Christ as superior to all that he had ever heard. He loved the Great Teacher, and desired to be with Him. He felt a desire to be changed in character and life, and he hoped to experience this through connecting himself with Jesus."

In the paragraph that follows the author tells how the disciples had a very high opinion of Judas and that he had great influence over them. In his estimation each of the disciples had serious flaws which would prevent them from being successful workers for God. "Judas regarded himself as the capable one, who could not be overreached. In his own estimation he was an honor to the cause, and as such he always represented himself." DA 717. I am sure that many of you have seen people like Judas who always want to be in positions of leadership in the church. Yet, they lack the kindness, love and compassion of the Saviour. Why is this so? The answer is found in a study of the foolish Virgins, who represent the Pharisees in every age of the church. The second example is the Jewish nation itself which sold itself to Rome when they said, "We have no king but Caesar" and "Let His blood be upon us and our children." Today, the church, USA, and the world in general stands in the same position. This will be seen when the National and World Sunday Laws are enacted. The last example is Peter, who was so sure of himself. He never dreamed that he would betray his beloved Lord...but he ended up denying him three times. Why? Because He did not understand the real mission of the Messiah or His true character. That was what led him to his humiliating downfall. Now, let's take a look at the five foolish virgins because we have an exact parallel to all three of our examples.

"The class represented by the foolish virgins are not hypocrites. They have a regard for the truth, they have advocated the truth, they are attracted to those who believe the truth; but they have not yielded themselves to the Holy Spirit's working. They have not fallen upon the Rock, Christ Jesus and permitted their old nature to be broken up....the class represented by the foolish virgins have been content with a superficial work. THEY DO NOT KNOW GOD. THEY HAVE NOT STUDIED HIS CHARACTER; they have not held communion with Him; therefore they do not know how to trust, how to look and live. Their service to God degenerates into a form." COL 411. In the last part of this same paragraph just quoted the author quotes two Scriptures which are very important to check out. The first one is Ezek. 33:31. This whole chapter is about the duty of the watchman giving a warning message so as to save his own soul as well as the people. If you believe the USA, and, the SDA church specifically, is spiritual Israel today (some even believe the USA are the literal descendants of Israel) then this whole chapter should be of special interest to you. EGW quotes only v. 31 to make the point that ancient Israel, like Laodicea, are going through the motions, just playing church. They act very pious but are worldlings at heart. Vs. 30 gives even more insight into the character of these people. They are whisperers and back-biters. "Son of dust, your people are whispering behind your back. They talk about you in their houses and whisper about you at the doors, saying, 'Come on, let's have some fun!' So they come as though they are sincere and sit before you listening. But they have no intention of doing what I tell them to, they talk very sweetly about loving the Lord, but with their hearts they are loving their money. You are very entertaining to them, like someone who sings lovely songs with a beautiful voice or plays well on an instrument. They hear what you say but don't pay any attention to it! But when all these terrible things happen to them--as they will--then they will know a prophet has been among them." Ezek. 33:30-33. LB.

So, beloved, this was the character of the people in the days of Ezekiel and Jeremiah who were contemporary prophets. Ezekiel was a prophet to the common people and was taken to Babylon in captivity whereas Jeremiah remained in Jerusalem and was a prophet to the king and his court. Daniel, later a prophet in the court of Babylon, was also a contemporary and the youngest of the three. Remember when Nebuchadnezzar built the golden image, as recorded in Dan. 3, that only Daniel's three friends refused to bow down to the image. All the rest of the Jewish captives, God's professed people, bowed down. We are told that God's professed people are repeating the history of that ancient people step by step. We know from history how Nebuchadnezzar finally destroyed the city of Jerusalem in 586 BC and Titus in AD 70.

We know judgment is now very near for our country and church. What we need to learn now, is how to escape this soon coming judgment. If you are not willing to pay close attention to what I am going to explain to you in the rest of this article then you definitely should begin preparing to survive the tribulation, because it is coming...and I mean BIG TIME. Whatever happens come January 1 of 2000 with Y2K, be it big, small or nothing at all, the big Time of Trouble Dan. 12 predicts will dwarf all previous times of trouble.

Jesus spoke about our time very clearly in Luke 21:34-36 when he warned His disciples, as well as us today, not to be caught up in the cares and business of this life so that we would be able to escape the snare that is even now being spread over all humanity around the entire globe. "Be on the alert, praying at all times for strength to pass safely through all these imminent troubles and to stand in the presence of the Son of Man." NEB Lk 21:36. One paraphrase uses the expression, "arrive in My Presence." I believe this is most insightful in the light of what Mal. 3:18 says regarding the "Jewels" or "Special Treasure" the Lord says He is going to "spare" through the final tribulation of this age. "Then shall ye (the Jewels) return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth Him not." The question I had when I read that text the first time was, return from where? I thought, well, in order to return from somewhere you have to first go somewhere. Isn't that a logical and fair assumption? Right. So, where are these individuals...the Lord's Jewels or Special Treasure coming back from? Well, it shouldn't really be too hard to figure out if we just put on our spiritual thinking caps and let our intelligence, guided by the Holy Spirit, tell us the truth.

In our previous studies we have already determined that the Christos of Rev. 11:15 and 12:10 is the same as the "man child" of Rev. 12:5. For those who wish to interpret this man child to be Jesus, let me point out that these prophecies are about the future of the church after the cross, resurrection and ascension of Christ to take His place on the throne of the universe. Besides, "The Lord," is Jesus, therefore, "His Christos" would have to be someone else, other than Jesus Himself. John is referring here to an end-time phenomenon that is to take place at the end of our age. When I was trying to think of a title for this article that would capture in one headline the main point I wanted to convey, my first thought was "HAVE YOU PUT ON YOUR WEDDING GARMENT YET?" But there was no reference to the first coming of Jesus. The next one was: "HE CAME TO SHOW US THE WAY BACK TO EDEN OR THE WAY HOME?" On and on it went, finally I just quit. Then suddenly, the next day, it came to me. "HE CAME TO SHOW US WHO WE ARE."

This contained a reference to His first coming as well as the main point I hope to make in this article...God's ultimate plan for the human race. Obviously, the majority of humanity haven't clue #1. Did Ancient Israel understand? No. What about the church in Christ's day? They were in even deeper darkness. Well, what about God's professed people in our day? If you have studied EGW even casually, you know she made many statements regarding God's spirit being forced out of the church. 2T 441, 442 is just one. Another is TM 150. That is the reason the Lord is even now by passing those who claim to be His true church. Yet, the message must be presented to all just as Jesus gave everyone an equal opportunity to accept the great blessings He had to bestow. Today may be the day God has chosen for you to learn what great blessings He has in store for you because you have been lied to on so many levels it is just beyond belief. If this is the first or even the second paper you have ever received than please write and ask for some back issues. I will send them to you free of charge. I hope you will make an order too but if you sincerely want to read some of my back issues, I will send them to you so you can be brought up to speed, so to speak. The events that will be happening in the social, political and religious world from now on will be in direct reaction to what God is doing for the world through His final elect, known as the Christos or Christ. Those texts are Rev. 11:15 and 12:10. Please look them up. God is manifesting Himself in this final hour in human flesh and the first to become high profile will be what I call the "barley." These will be the first grain to be ready for harvest and He is going to make them into an army and showcase them to the world in the most awesome manner and the world will react to them and their message and try to discredit and destroy them. Rev. 11 indicates they will experience a "character assassination" but will come back to life in three days. How soon this will happen we cannot tell at this moment because the temple in Jerusalem has not been re-built but its reconstruction is on the agenda and when that happens you can be assured that the final events are going to fall in place very quickly. As I said before, we all have been lied to regarding who we are and our true destiny. I want to touch on this and give you the basic idea and references so you can research it out for yourself. First of all, we were created in the very image of God Himself. We are Sons and Daughters of the Most High. That is why Jesus kept saying, "Follow Me. Do what you see me doing. Come on. You can do it." Look what He did with Peter. When Peter saw Jesus walking on the water he asked Jesus, "Lord, if it be you, bid me come unto thee on the water. And He said, Come." Matt. 14:29. Well, we know what happened. Peter actually did walk on the water for a few steps. But when he allowed fear to overcome his faith due to the strong winds he began to sink and cried out to Jesus, "Lord, save me." Jesus immediately stretched out His hand and caught Him, and said, "O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?" I like J.B. Phillips' translation. "You little-faith! What made you lose your nerve like that?" Now notice what the entire crew said: "And when they were come into the ship, the wind cease. Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped Him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God." The reason Peter lost his nerve is because he did not understand what it meant to truly be a Son of God. But that was what Jesus was trying to teach them. But not only to them, for Jesus never played favorites. He was also trying to help the Jewish leaders to understand their potential and high destiny as well, but they resisted Him each step of the way. When they were calling Him all kinds of names and saying that He had a devil because He had healed the blind man. Jesus calmly explained to them that His sheep followed Him because they knew His voice, which of course implied that there was another shepherd speaking to them, a false shepherd. I deal with that topic under the heading of the "THE TWO LORDS." But what really caused the Jewish leaders to want to stone Jesus was when He declared: "I and my Father are one." John 10:30. Jesus tried to reason with them asking for which good works they wanted to stone Him to death. That's when they told Him that it wasn't for any of His good works that they were going to stone Him, "but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God." John 10:33. Now, you might think that Jesus would be very angry at them for the mean and nasty way they were talking to Him but He wasn't. His heart of love went out to them as He saw a golden opportunity to reveal to them who they really were by implication. So, the Father led Him to reveal a deep and hidden truth to them, which they rejected, but which we can accept. "Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?" John 10:34. Jesus is quoting Himself here from Ps. 82:6 but does not try and convince them of that. He is simply trying to help them see something all mankind is blind to even to this moment. And that is the fact that God created us to be like Him. That is what Jesus came to reveal. Notice Ps. 82:1. The KJV says that "God standeth in the congregation of the mighty, he judgeth among the gods." Of course, this is Jesus and His Father speaking throughout the entire Psalm. The Modern Language version says, "God stands in the congregation of God; in the midst of the judges He gives judgment." The word translated "gods" in John 10:34 and Psalm 82:6 simply means "Judges" or rulers. That is what God created Adam and Eve to be...the rulers, judges and gods of this world. But Satan tricked them and stole away their birthright. By the time the book of Job was written we find Satan representing planet earth in the heavenly council, the very position Adam and Eve were created to fill. The LB calls it "heaven's court," and the RSV calls it "the Divine council." The Amplified gives this interesting translation: "I said, You are gods (since you judge on My behalf, as My representatives); indeed, all of you are children of the Most High." This Psalm was written about 1,000 years BC, yet the attitude of the leaders God is addressing is exactly the same as the Jews in Christ's day who were oppressing the common man in the temple and ripping off the poor. The whole temple scene is just what Jesus called it, "A den of thieves." No wonder He cleansed it twice. Because of these sins the Lord declared: "But you shall die as men, and fall as one of the princes." Ps. 82:7. So, they continued walking on in the darkness of their ignorance, blind to their true destiny and potential. But in this last age the prophecies say that God will finally be able to bring a Remnant to the same perfection of His son and through them He will work to restore all creation.

And it is about to happen. The "Manifestation of the Sons of God" will begin the process of restoring the earth to its Edenic beauty and man to His original status and glory because once again His mind will be connected directly to the mind of His Creator. But before that can happen he must be totally unplugged from the mind of Satan. "Learn of Me," says Jesus; 'for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest.' We are to enter the school of Christ, to learn from Him meekness and lowliness. Redemption is that process by which the soul is trained for heaven. This training means a knowledge of Christ. It means emancipation from ideas, habits, and practices that have been gained in the school of the prince of darkness. They must be delivered from all that is opposed to loyalty to God." DA 330.

For a quick moment I want to take you back to the Garden of Eden where all the trouble began and see if we can figure out what really happened. Remember that I told you we have been lied to and cheated out of our birthright. But we are about to reclaim it if we are willing to open our eyes and see the truth. It takes some very shocking revelations for mankind to get his eyes opened. For example, it took the death of Jesus on the cross to break our hearts and open not only our eyes, but the entire universe. "Not until the death of Christ was the character of Satan clearly revealed to the angels or to the unfallen worlds." DA 758. Read the whole chapter because it is a real eye opener, especially about the character of God, that He does not destroy or use any kind of force or coercion. Now, lets return to the day of Christ's resurrection as two disciples of Jesus, Cleopas and his unnamed companion were sadly walking along the dusty road back to their home in Emmaus from Jerusalem. They were discussing the life and tragic death of Jesus. Suddenly, without them realizing it, Jesus began walking with them. He casually asked them what they were talking about that was making them so sad. They were shocked that he didn't know anything about the trial and crucifixion of Jesus of Nazareth. So, they began explaining all the wonderful works Jesus performed and then the tragedy of His death by the leaders of the nation. They also mentioned what they considered rumors about Jesus' body missing and some women having a vision of angels which told them Jesus was alive. This story gives us many insights into the feelings and thinking of the followers of Christ at that time. Well, as we know Jesus told them they were "fools and slow of heart to believe" all that the prophets had spoken regarding the Messiah and how it was necessary for the "Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into His glory." Luke 24:25, 26.

The word He used for fools is "anoetos" Strong's 453, which simply means "unintelligent or not wise." Young's, pg. 361 says anoetos means "thoughtless." This is the same word Paul used in Gal. 3:1, "O Foolish Galatians." It is similar to us saying to a friend in English, John, didn't you see that sign back there? It was right out there in plain sight. You need to be more alert and pay closer attention. Put your thinking cap on and let me explain it to you so you can understand. It is a typical exchange between a good teacher and his student. The other two words for fools Jesus used in speaking to the Pharisees were "aphron" Strong's 878 which means, "mindless, stupid, egoistic," and Strong's 3471 "moraino" meaning "dull, stupid, heedless and blockhead, or simpleton." Jesus did not use either of these words when talking to His beloved disciples.

Then He gave the greatest and most famous Bible study of all time using all of the Scriptures that foretold what He would go through. But they didn't know it was Jesus...until they stopped for a bite to eat and He broke the bread in His familiar manner, "blessed it, and brake, and gave to them. And their eyes were opened, and they knew Him; and He vanished out of their sight." Vs. 31. Please notice carefully that phrase, "THEIR EYES WERE OPENED." What does this phrase mean?

It means that before Jesus broke the bread they were blind to the truth. But after He broke the bread, symbolizing His broken body on the cross, our eyes are open to the truth of His wonderful character of love, especially that "He is holy, harmless and undefiled." Heb. 7:26. The reason the cross opens our eyes is because it revealed what He was really like under persecution and torture.

He did not rail against His accusers and tormenters or make threats that He would someday get even. In fact, He prayed, "Father forgive them for they know what they do." It was a sin of ignorance on the part of the leaders and the people as well. In fact, Paul even says that the "princes of this world," did not know the truth about "the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory." I Cor. 2:6-8. That is truly an amazing scripture because it extends the possibility of forgiveness for the death of Jesus even to Satan and his angels. The problem is they have never accepted it yet. So, the lake fire is their destination which is a deep study in and of itself which leads right into the subject of the "Fire of God," and what that actually means. But let us go back to that insightful phrase in Luke 21:31, "And their eyes were opened, and they knew (recognized) Him;" It was in that instant of recognition that all the Scriptures He had been teaching them came together like the pieces of a puzzle and in the face of their beloved Master they now clearly saw the real mission of the Messiah and the over all plan of salvation. Let us go back in time now to the Garden of Eden and notice what happened to Eve and then Adam when they ate the "forbidden" fruit off of the tree of "knowledge of good and evil." "And the eyes of them both were opened," Gen. 3:7. First of all, let me ask you this question. Who was it that told them this particular tree was off limits? That it was a 'forbidden' tree? Let me assure you, my friend, it was not the true God. How do I know that? Because there were two "Lords" or "Gods" in Eden. One was the true and the other was the false, pretender God whom Jesus identified in John 8:44 as a liar and murderer from the beginning. Jesus told the Jews that this god was their father and that his name is Satan, Diablo, the devil. Gen. 1:29 clearly tells us that the true God, the Creator, gave "every tree" to Adam and Eve. Furthermore, v 31 tells us that He pronounced "every thing that He had made, and, behold, it was very good." Gen. 1:31. So, who is this interloper god, this pretender, false, imitator god who palms himself off as the "Lord God of Eden," the "ruler of the world?" Who is this blasphemer who dares suggest that one of God's perfect trees is bad and will cause death? Paul tells us who he is in Heb. 2:14, 15. "That through (the) death (of Jesus on the cross) he (Jesus) might destroy him (Satan) that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage." Now, just think about it for one instant. Who was it who introduced the concept of death in Eden? Who was it who threatened Adam and Eve with death if they ate of this one tree someone had designated as the "Tree of knowledge of good and evil?" Ezek. 28:13 gives us an important clue. "Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God;" This passage is a clear reference to Satan, as we know. I have written about this extensively in my book, "The Mystery of God Revealed in the Plan of the Ages," as well as articles in past issues of GLC Newspaper. Virtually all religions teach that the serpent in Eden was Satan. Why would we want to believe it if all the religions of the world teach it and they constitute Babylon? What does God's word say about the serpent? Well, in Num. 21 God commanded Moses to put a serpent on a pole and then tell the people who had been bitten by the serpents to look at this same serpent and they would be healed. Isn't that amazing! But even more amazing is what Jesus told Nicodemus. "And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life." John 3:14, 15. Dear friend, what do you think Jesus was trying to tell Nicodemus about Himself and the serpent? That He was going to once again become that healing serpent that Moses had lifted up in the wilderness and that Eve talked to in the Garden of Eden. The Serpent told Eve that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the fruit of that tree which some one other than the Creator, had declared that this tree was bad, evil and would cause death. There is the threat of death...the fear and power of death being introduced and Paul said it was the devil who was the author of it. So, figure it out for yourself. All of God's trees were pronounced good and Adam and Eve were both told that every tree was good for food and God made a covenant with them that they were to take care of them all. Does it make any sense at all to you that the same Creator who just created a perfect world with no flaws, which means no bad, poisonous trees, would turn right around and begin cursing the very same creation He had just made and pronounced "very good?" No, it makes no sense at all because God never changes. Once He pronounces something perfect and good He doesn't turn right around and say it is bad and curse it. But there is someone who wants you to think that God's creation is defective and that you yourself are defective and evil and bad. There was someone lurking in Eden who wanted to defile and destroy God's perfect creation and make God look like a defective, flawed Creator who didn't really know what He was doing. And it was not the serpent. That serpent has had a lot of bad press from day one. Let's re-examine what the serpent said to Eve. "Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?" Let's stop right there for a moment. The "god" the serpent is talking about is the god of Gen. 2 who suggested that one of God's perfectly good trees was bad and told Adam it was off limits...forbidden and if he ate of it he would die. There again is the concept of death introduced which Paul says is from the devil. So, this "god" who is speaking to Adam in Gen. 2 could not be the true God but the pretender, liar god Jesus told the Jews was their father. And let me explain something else here at this point. There are two versions of creation. The first is in Gen. 1 down to Gen. 2:3. In this first version the Creator is referred to simply as "God." He only creates and blesses and on the seventh day makes a day of rest called the Sabbath and blesses it. He creates Adam and Eve out of nothing, instantly, both at the same time. He tells them that He is giving them every herb bearing seed and all of the trees for them to take care of and eat. This was all over the earth, not just in a place called the "Garden of Eden." Eden is not mentioned until chapter two at which time a certain "Lord God" is also introduced. Theologians through the centuries have puzzled over the differences and contradictions in these two versions of the creation story. In the first version Adam and Eve are created instantly together on the 6th day after the animals. But in the second version of Gen. 2:4-25 we find Adam being created first, put to sleep and Eve being created out of one of his ribs. Both versions cannot be true. When Jesus referred to the creation of Adam and Eve He quoted from Gen. 1:27, "Have ye not read, that He which made them at the beginning made them male and female." Matt. 19:4. Also in Gen. 5 we read this: "This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him; Male and female created He them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created."

This, my friend is the true word of God. This is the way it happened, just like Gen. 1 tells us it happened. Adam and Eve were created together, at the same time and God called them both, together, as one unit "Adam," meaning mankind. So, why is the record of Gen. 2 included if it contradicts Gen. 1? I have thought and prayed about that a great deal for the last ten years or more. The only way you can make any sense out of it at all is to realize that the titles "Lord, and Lord God," are just that...titles, just as the words president and director or founder, etc. are titles. These are not God's name but His title. And Satan has been allowed to assume and use these titles throughout the Great Controversy and will in his final effort to deceive the world appear as Jesus Christ Himself, declaring and claiming that He is Jesus who has come again to save the world. Read all about it in the book Great Controversy, pgs. 624, 625. The record of Gen. 2:4-25 is the story of what Satan was allowed to do with Adam and Eve at the very dawn of creation. The true God allowed Satan to tempt them. In order to set up this temptation he was allowed to place them in a placed named "The Garden of Eden." I have been told that the word "garden" itself originally meant "guard den," which meant an enclosed area for the purpose of growing special plants, herbs, etc. Like so many English words the meaning often changes with time. But we do know that the Garden of Eden was a testing ground for Adam and Eve. A place where Satan was allowed to tempt them. Gen. 1 makes it clear that God gave them the entire earth, so why would they just want to live their whole lives in one place called the garden of Eden when the whole world was like the Garden of Eden, rich with plants and animals and of a perfect temperature. We must realize that God, in His great wisdom and foreknowledge, planned all of this out from the beginning. Nothing happened by accident. The creator simply used Satan's jealousy and misunderstanding as part of the over-all perfection and development of planet earth, humanity and the entire universe. It is all part of a master plan. Once you grasp this concept..."the idea of The Plan of the Ages"--and everything that is happening is all part of a master plan--then every mysterious part of it begins to make sense and fits together properly. Without an understanding of Universal Restoration nothing else makes sense.

We must also realize that God is not the tempter. "Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:" James 1:13. Now, let's clear up what the temptation in the garden of Eden really was and what caused them to "fall." The temptation was for Adam and Eve to believe that something was wrong with God's perfect creation. If Satan could introduce the idea of imperfection in just one little tree, then he could work from that point on to insinuate to Adam and Eve and all the universe that there was something wrong with God Himself and, of course, with Adam and Eve. And you must realize that the Creator(s) knew exactly what Lucifer (Satan) was doing and permitted it because they knew that in the final analysis this whole ensuing Great Controversy would ultimately end up in the education and perfection of planet earth, mankind and the entire universe. "Our little world is the lesson book for the universe." DA 19. Think of that in a positive sense, not in a negative sense and then you will have the Creator's viewpoint and understand his purpose and motive. That is why we are told in I Thess. 5:18 and Eph. 5:20 to "give thanks for all things." By the time Eve came to the tree and began talking to the serpent Adam had already been deceived. The serpent was there to try and clear up this false idea that one of the trees was off-limits and would cause them to die. That was the lie that Adam already believed. Evidently, Eve did not agree with Adam on that point and in the original Hebrew this is brought out. So, in this greatest of all stories in the world we find the serpent speaking to Eve about this particular tree, asking her what "God" had told them regarding the trees of the garden. There is nothing tricky or deceitful in what the serpent asked Eve although theologians down through the centuries have tried to make it look that way. "And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?" Gen. 3:1.

This is old English so let's try and rephrase it the way we talk today. And remember that Jesus told Nicodemus that He was going to become the serpent again, as He was in the days of Moses on that brass pole to bring healing to the people. So, try and think of the serpent as being Jesus speaking to Eve. What is His motive? It is to try and reveal to her the truth that ALL THE TREES OF THE GARDEN ARE OK. That someone claiming to be "God" has told them a lie. That is the motive Christ had as He speaks to Eve through the serpent. With this in mind let us look again at the question and read it in with this in mind. "Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?" The key word here, as you will see, is "every." Here is what Jesus asked Eve. Is it true that you have been told that you cannot eat of all the trees of the garden? Now, what is the purpose of this question? It is to establish what Eve believed about the creation and what the true God (Jesus) told Adam and Eve in the first place, as we read in Gen. 1:29-31, that all the trees belonged to them...every last one of them and that they were all perfect. Eve, is it true that someone has told you that you are not allowed to eat of every single one of the trees. Eve understood the question perfectly. She did not feel that she was being tricked or deceived. She quickly answered: "We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall yet touch it, lest ye die." Gen. 3:2, 3. Does she understand this rule that this "God" has told her would be enforced by the death penalty? Absolutely. It is clear as crystal in her mind. No doubts whatsoever as to what this "God" has told her about this particular tree. And it is also clear that Adam understands and believes it as well. Ok, let's stop right here for a moment and talk about what Ellen G. White believed and wrote in "Patriarchs and Prophets," as well as other books. She simply wrote out and followed the party line of 19th century theologians who had been writing up this story from the very beginning...that the serpent is the devil and Eve was deceived and ate the fruit and seduced Adam into eating it as well. Was EGW correct on this point? No, I don't think so. Did EGW claim that she was infallible? No, she didn't. In fact, she left the door open for the future when God would give us more truth. That's all I am going to say about that for now, because the EGW factor is very great in many people's minds reading this article. But we have clearly established from past articles and books on the subject of the character of God that EGW did not know everything and was not infallible regarding the character of God. That in her earlier writings she believed and wrote that God destroyed but in her later writings she wrote that He did not destroy, as we read in COL 84, "God destroys no man."

Now, beloved, let me explain something to you before we go on with what and why Jesus is speaking to Eve through the serpent to try and correct a lie that she has been told about God's creation, specifically about the trees. In every translation I have read this morning the word "any" is used instead of "every" as it reads in the KJV, and as it should be translated from the original. Even in the NAS, which is probably the most accurate, they used "any" but put a 1 by the word any to indicate there is an alternative reading or translation of that word. So, in the margin they admit that in the original the word "every" is used. The reason I mention this is because when you put the word "any" in the question it makes it into a trick question. Satan did not tell Adam and Eve they could not eat of "any" of the trees. No, that is not what he told them. What Satan, claiming to be the true God, told them was that only one certain tree is forbidden and that if they ate of that one tree which I believed he told them was the "tree of knowledge of good and evil," that they would die. And do you know what? Satan was successful in getting the entire universe to believe this same lie so that on every unfallen planet or world there is a tree of knowledge of good and evil and no one has ever eaten of it. Before we are finished I am going to tell you how God is going to correct this particular lie through the 144,000.

Now, that Eve understands the question and has repeated back to the serpent the exact words of the lawgiver regarding this forbidden tree, Christ, speaking through the serpent is now ready to correct this lie by telling her the truth about this particular lawgiver who is claiming to be the true God and Creator of the earth. But first let's analyze Eve's response more closely. The original Hebrew indicates that Eve was not fully convinced that she would really die if she ate of this forbidden fruit. This is indicated by the fact that in her explanation she used the word "lest." The word 'lest,' pen, implies inner alarm at the thought to playing with something that might prove fatal, concealed under an assumed cynical attitude toward the idea that such a thing could ever really happen. BC 1, pg. 230. Eve also expanded the death penalty of the pretender god by adding that death would follow if they even so much as touched the fruit of the forbidden tree, as if to say, Yeah, we've been told that if you even so much as touch that little tree you will just drop dead that very instant. Adam and Eve had no doubt discussed this threat of death and talked it over more than once. Adam was a firm believer in the law and no doubt warned Eve to stay away from that dangerous tree. I am sure they both wondered why their loving Creator had changed His mind regarding--giving them "all" of the trees and that every one of them were perfect. It seemed strange but the fear of death, which they didn't know anything about, kept them in strict obedience. At least until now. Now, the serpent begins to tell Eve that she has been lied to. Notice: "And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die. For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil." Gen. 3:5. Notice how Kenneth Taylor, author of the "Living Bible," paraphrases it: "'That's a lie!' the serpent hissed. 'You'll not die! God knows very well that the instant you eat it you will become like Him, for your eyes will be opened---you will be able to distinguish good from evil!'" Almost all translations make the serpent look as bad as possible. He is called "the wiliest, the craftiest, etc." The KJV uses the word "subtle" which is what most people believe means a cunning and deceptive person. But that is not the first meaning of subtle. It can also mean "refined, fine, keen, sharp, astute skillful, masterful, clever, ingenious, deft, expert and quick." There are also the negative definitions but if the serpent really is Jesus, as I believe He was, which characteristics would you use? Remember that Jesus Himself counseled us to be "wise as serpents and harmless as doves." He never said anything bad about the serpent. So, we know that Eve went ahead then and began to examine the fruit more closely and see that there was nothing wrong with it at all, "that is was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit ... and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat." So, Eve did not die. What do you think she thought? I have imagined that she ran to her husband or just used her thought vibration powers and traveled instantly to where he was. It is also possible that Adam was standing there with her because v. 6 says, "and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat." We have always heard that she went to Adam and explained what she had done and he immediately ate of it for the purpose of dying with her. It is most likely he was not there or he probably would have talked her out of eating it. At any rate they both ate and then the Bible says something happened which we have always thought of as tragic. "And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons." Vs. 7. In my book, "THE MYSTERY OF GOD REVEALED IN THE PLAN OF THE AGES," I go into much more detail then I have space and time to do here.

One writer expressed it like this: The woman succumbs. She takes of the fruit and eats. Then she beckons to Adam and together they share the moment of truth, the discovery of what it is like to grow up. So, what is the truth they learned? I believe that Eve realized the voice that had spoken to them, claiming to be God, had lied to them because she did not die, nor even feel sick or guilty or anything because she never believed it was a good law to begin with and her hunch was confirmed. But when she tried to share this with her husband he had a different experience. He felt guilty and I believe it caused Eve to feel the same way and slowly the light connection with God began to disappear until they realized they were "naked." In his book, "The Cypher of Genesis," Hebrew scholar tries to sort out and reconcile the inconsistencies of Gen. 1 and 2. The truth is that this story of a magical snare where fear sees birth as sin, (that is growing up by learning good from evil and right from wrong) freedom as disobedience, nobleness as ruin. It is not the serpent who is the tempter. The deceiver is the so-called God, YHVH, and the deceived is the reader. Does this appear ridiculous? The scandal is the world-wide picture of a good old father seated in the heavens, benignly observing us. Pg. 120. Suares is obviously irritated with the whole story which he is not able to solve or come to closure with. Why? Because he does not understand the character of God on any level, especially the two Lords and Universal Reconciliation. His comments and satirical asides throughout his book betray his cynicism, but can you blame him for being so frustrated? I especially find frustrating the exchange that took place between Adam and Eve when this "Lord God" begins interrogating them about why they are hiding from him. Adam tells the Lord God that the reason he broke the law was because his wife gave it to him. Suares' comments on what Eve said are very insightful: When she is questioned concerning this even, she does not---as the translations assert--reply. 'The serpent beguiled me' (Gen. 3:13). What the true reading gives is far more significant. The Hebrew phrase, Hanahhas Hashayliny, as is so often true in the most beautiful passages, is impossible to translate in two or three words. It has to do with the action of the letter 'Sheen' which we met with after Adam's so-called sleep. 'Sheen' (300). We know that some truths have been obscured and lost through the centuries, such as the word "aion." Translators, copyists, priests, rabbis and theologians in general have all had a part in repressing truths they do not think is important--would not be accepted or would not be, in their opinion, good for people to know. The word "beguile" is another example. It does not mean to be deceived or seduced. I checked it out myself and it means "to lift up" to "lift up one's person from a humble condition, to be cheerful, to look forward hopefully to, to lift up the soul to anything." I believe that when Eve said, "the serpent beguiled me," that what she meant was, He lifted me up and gave me the wonderful marvelous revelation of truth beyond anything I have ever known. I believe this because she spoke out of a heart of innocence, like a child, because that's exactly what Adam and Eve were...little children. If you have had any doubts up to now about the identity of this Lord God of Eden--the reaction of this Lord God against beautiful Eve's testimony regarding how she felt about her experience with the serpent should convince you that this Lord God truly is Satan. The air of Eden became blue with his curses against the serpent, the woman, Adam and the earth itself. This is totally contrary to all we know about the true God in the face of the revelation Jesus Christ brought about His heavenly Father. Satan knew the way to control Adam and all their children who would follow in future generations would be to make her look guilty and feel guilty, thus blaming her for all the world's ills from that moment on. But let's clearly identify this Lord God of curses upon humanity and planet earth. If we can identify the "creator" of the thorn and the thistle then we will know who is behind the voice of the Lord God in Gen. 3. Let us read a quote from Ellen G. White who will clearly tell us who it was who pronounced those curses. "THE SAME GOD WHO GUIDES THE PLANETS WORKS IN THE FRUIT ORCHARD AND IN THE VEGETABLE GARDEN. HE NEVER MADE A THORN, A THISTLE, OR A TARE. THESE ARE SATAN'S WORK, THE RESULT OF DEGENERATION, INTRODUCED BY HIM AMONG THE PRECIOUS THINGS; BUT IT IS THROUGH GOD'S IMMEDIATE AGENCY THAT EVERY BUD BURSTS INTO BLOSSOM." Test. Vol. 6, pg. 186. Beloved, this proves beyond the shadow of a doubt that the voice behind all those terrible curses is Satan, the fallen angel, Lucifer. This is proof positive that the serpent speaking to Eve was not Satan but Jesus. This is the truth that must be restored to God's elect in this final hour so they will be able to accomplish their work in this earth and then during the 1,000 years traveling from planet to planet and world to world with Jesus to testify that the Lord is good and all of his trees are good and will not hurt you. I believe they (little company and 144,000) will be able to go up to each of those trees and eat of that forbidden fruit on each of those forbidden trees and praise the Lord by declaring, "O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man/woman that trusteth in him." Psalm 38:8

"For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not of its own will, but because Him who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God." Rom. 8:19-21. What a glorious opportunity is ours today to have a part in this glorious work, under Jesus' direction, to help Him return the earth to its Edenic glory.

There are two references coming into my mind which I think explain both our opportunity and dilemma. Notice: "Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory (character) of the Lord is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people; but the Lord shall rise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee." Isa. 60:1, 2. The second is from COL 414. "The coming of the bridegroom was at midnight--the darkest hour. So, the coming of Christ will take place in the darkest period of earth's history...the great apostasy will develop into darkness deep as midnight, impenetrable as sackcloth of hair. To God's people it will be a night of trial, a night of weeping, a night of persecution for the truth's sake. But out of that night of darkness God's light will shine." COL 414, 415. Cf. TM 50.

"It is the darkness of misapprehension of God that is enshrouding the world. Men are losing their knowledge of His character. It has been misunderstood and misinterpreted. At this time a message from God is to be proclaimed, a message illuminating in its influence and saving in its power. His character is to be made known. Into the darkness of the world is to be shed the light of His glory, the light of His goodness, mercy, and truth." COL 415. "Misapprehension." What does that word mean? The author defines it in the following sentences in three words. 1. Loss of knowledge of God's character. 2. Misunderstood. 3. Misinterpreted. From the very beginning in Eden it has been the studied and determined intention of the Enemy of all good to slander the character of God. Yet, we are told in 2 Cor. 13:8 that "We can do nothing against the Truth (Jesus or Creator) but only for the truth."

In His infinite Wisdom our Wonderful Creator designed a master plan in which His entire creation would be perfected by working their way through a maze, as it were. Through trial and error they would eventually find their way to the other side. He knew that the "omega (final) generation" would be successful in finally breaking the code, putting all the pieces together and in the process becoming perfect. The secret to it all is an understanding of who God is and what He is really like. In other words, His character. "And this is eternal life; [it means] to know (to perceive, recognize, become acquainted with and understand) You, the only true and real God, and [likewise] to know Him, Jesus [as the] Christ, the Anointed One, the Messiah, Whom You have sent." John 17:3. Amplified. The book of Job is an example of what I am talking about. Job found himself in a maze. Nothing made sense. How could so many massive disasters strike him so suddenly, especially when he was living a godly life? The entire book is one anguished cry after another from a broken and suffering man demanding an audience with His Creator. And all he hears is the despairing echo of his own voice. Even his wife gives up and counsels Job to just end it all by cursing God whom she no doubt believed would then finish him off with a lightning bolt from His throne in the sky. Or maybe she meant for him to curse God and commit suicide. At any rate, Job was all alone in his sufferings. Yet, God was with him, sustaining him even though Job was not aware of it. This was what Jesus Himself went through in Gethsamane and on the cross. But He gained the victory and said, "It is finished." John 19:30. In our day another voice from the throne of God will declare: "It is done." Rev. 16:17.

So, what was finished at the cross? Beginning on page 758 of "Desire of Ages," an entire chapter is devoted to explaining what Jesus meant when He said, "It is finished." Two main points are developed. First of all, the character of Satan is revealed. Jesus' death exposed Satan as the liar and murderer He had declared him to be in John 8:44. Secondly, what Jesus began at the cross, will be completed when the controversy is ended. At that time "the character of God is revealed to all created intelligences. The precepts of His law are seen to be perfect and immutable. Then sin has made manifest its nature, Satan his character. Then the extermination of sin will vindicate God's love and establish His honor before a universe of beings who delight to do His will, and in whose heart is His law." DA 764. I want to point out that it is "sin" that will be exterminated...not the sinner. There is an important difference which I hope to make clear in this article.

So, we see that there are two times in the Great Controversy when the statement "It is finished or It is done," is spoken by Christ Himself. We have just looked at what was finished at the cross. Now, let's see what will be finished at the close of this age when Jesus once again declares, "It is done." The same issues at stake in the life of Jesus on earth will be the issues at stake in the lives of His elect in this final hour. It was Satan's purpose to cause Jesus to give up and go back to heaven or sin in some way. He failed to do this for Jesus did not give up nor did he break the law in any way, shape or form. Why? Because He knew the real truth about God and had no fear or mistrust in His heart. This is what God's final elect must also have...a perfect love relationship with their Creator (Jesus) which is based upon total faith and trust because they have a perfect knowledge of the character of God. "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not make perfect in love." I John 4:18. This is what caused the chink in Job's armor. His fear. Notice: "For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me." Job 3:25. The NIV gives more insight. "What I feared has come upon me; what I dreaded has happened to me. I have no peace, no quietness; I have no rest, but only turmoil."

Contrast Job's experience with the life of Jesus, especially on the cross. Jesus never lost His peace, trust or confidence in God. But what about when He cried out, 'my God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?' someone may be asking. "And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, E-li, E-li, la-masa-bach-that-ni? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? Some of them that stood there, when they heard that, said, This man calleth for Elias." Matt. 27:46. First of all, the learned priests and scribes did not correctly interpret His words. So, I am not certain that the translators have it right either. But even if He did cry out to His Father in His terrible mental anguish, asking why He had been forsaken, this was not a sin but a legitimate question. The sins of the world were upon Him and He experienced total aloneness and abandonment because that is what sin does...it blocks off all communication. His Father had not abandoned Him. He was there in the darkness but Jesus could no longer sense His Presence. Listen to what really happened: "For He (God the Father) has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; Neither has He hidden His face from Him; But when he cried to Him for help, He heard." Psalm 22:24 NAS.

So, even though God was there at the cross in the darkness, listening to His dear Son and talking back to Him, Jesus could not hear Him. So, naturally, Jesus felt abandoned and cried out, "Daddy? where are you daddy? I can't hear you. Why aren't you talking to Me anymore? Where have you gone? Are you ok? Are you alright? Daddy, daddy, don't leave me, please don't leave Me. I need you so much. Will I ever see you again? What is going to happen when I die? What is going to happen to you? To our family? The God family...the Echad God? (Deut. 6:4). In the original Hebrew the word for God is Elohim. This word is not only plural but both masculine and feminine. It contains all three elements or characteristics. So, when we read in Gen. 1:26 that God said "Let us make man in our image," the Hebrew word there for God is male, female and plural. The only reason I mention this is because the idea of Christ having a mother as well as a father has never been dealt with in Christian theology.

Why is this so? Probably, patriarchal control over the translation of the ancient texts, scrolls, scriptures, etc. has repressed this information because they believed the Christian community has not been ready and/or able to relate to it after centuries of reading the King James, and now, in this century, other translations which still do not reveal this aspect of the Godhead. I have become aware of it in the last year or so but saw no reason to mention it, because I didn't really see any place for it in the ongoing presentation of the character of God. But now as I think of Jesus dying on the cross, cut off from His family (both Mother and Father, if you accept this idea), somehow it makes the whole scenario much more poignant if Jesus was crying out to His Father/Mother both at the same time. Do you see what I mean?

We are not used to thinking of it in this way, so it sounds very strange, even heretical. Therefore, it isn't a subject I share with my readers to argue about for I am not trying to be dogmatic, as so many are about the trinity and other aspects of theology. When God created Adam and Eve in the beginning the Bible says these two human beings, male and female, were created in the very image of God (plural), which obviously means there are both male and female characteristics in the God Family. Frankly, I don't see anything to argue about. The Scripture is very clear on this point in the creation account, as well as the Hebrew title, Elohim, containing both male and female characteristics, as well as being in the plural. Just how it all fits into the final message of the character of God remains to be seen. I have nothing to urge at this time. If anyone has more information on this subject, pro or con, I would very appreciate you sharing it with me as I do hope to write more on this later.

It seems to me that in order to understand the RESTORATION MESSAGE of all things being restored that Adam and Eve lost we need to go back and look at the original covenant/agreement/promise given to Adam and Eve. I have already written about this in-depth in past articles and one of my books. The point being that what Adam and Eve lost is what we were supposed to inherit. Jesus, as the second Adam, came to redeem all of these things Adam lost. But before we are ready to receive this wonderful inheritance we must understand exactly what was lost. Critical and vital to this is the issue of God's true character. If we don't understand who God is and what He is really like we are not going to be in any frame of mind to even want to get acquainted with our Heavenly Father.

Let me try and illustrate it like this. Let's say that you were kidnapped and brought up in a home where you thought you knew who your mother and father really are. But in reality, you don't, because the man and woman who kidnapped you have been lying to you your whole life. Your name is Melinda. You are 12 years old, a popular student in school with lots of friends. Your grades are not the best due to low self-image. You have a younger brother and sister you care for very much and feel a need to protect. The bad part of your life is that in order to keep you in bondage your kidnapper parents have verbally abused you by making you feel dumb, stupid, worthless and threatened you many times if you didn't do exactly what they said. So, even though they are sometimes mean and abusive, this is the only life you have ever known. One day two strangers stop you on the street and tell you the truth. Well, at least they say it is the truth. They tell you they are Private Investigators and that your real father and mother have been looking for you for many years. They are very rich and want to raise you themselves and give you all that they had planned for you from the time you were born. But you were only two years old when you were kidnapped, so you don't remember anything. What do you think your first reaction would be? Doubt, unbelief and skepticism. Although your "parents" are not the greatest in the world you still love them. You don't know anything else. You have been warned about rapists, child molesters and other types of bad people. Your parents and teachers have told you never to talk to strangers or get in the car with anyone. So, naturally, you are very skeptical. You are smart enough to know that if you told your real parents they would freak out and really punish you. Obviously, if you accept what this man and woman are telling you your life would change very dramatically. They do not pressure you. They are very kind and understanding. They show you pictures of your real parents and of you when you were about two years old, just before you were taken away from them. They tell you that you have two brothers and two sisters and show you their pictures. You are very impressed because there is a striking resemblance. That is one thing that has always bothered you about the parents you have always thought were your real parents. You don't look like them at all. Nor is there any resemblance between you and your two siblings. The Private Investigators ask if you would like to talk to your real mother and dad on the phone. They have a cell phone in their car they say. This makes you nervous and you decline. They give you a phone number where you can contact them later on if you change your mind. They get in the car and drive away.

So, what do you do now? Well, I am going to let you finish the story because you are Melinda. One can imagine many possible scenarios such as Melinda going home and telling her parents what happened and receiving a severe beating. In that case she probably would call the number and make contact with her real parents. But if she told her kidnapper parents about the phone number they might not only beat her but kill her or at least destroy the phone number and move far away. The last scenario I will suggest is that Melinda would chose to not tell her parents anything and just keep all these things in her heart for a few weeks or months until she had time to think things over. Finally, she would call the number and finally meet her real parents who would change her life for the better forever. There are probably as many scenarios as there are people because each person is different.

Like Melinda, we, the human race, have been kidnapped by Satan. Jesus sends his messengers to try and encourage us to make contact with our real heavenly parents. There are as many scenarios as there are people in this world. According to the prophecies there will be a small group of people in the end-time, the barley group, who will be the first of the first fruits to be harvested. They will be taken to heaven and given all the gifts that Adam and Eve lost. What were these gifts? Jesus revealed them in His life and ministry. The ability to read minds...to look at a human being and know all about him from the time of his birth til his death. Nathanael and Peter are two examples we have the Bible and SOP. "Jesus saw Nathanael coming to Him, and said of him, 'Behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile!' Nathanael said to Him, 'How do you know me?' Jesus answered and said to him, 'before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.' Nathanael answered Him, 'Rabbi, You are the Son of God; You are the King of Israel." John 1:47, 49.

"He (Peter) also had heard the preaching of John the Baptist, and he hastened to the Saviour. The eye of Christ rested upon him, reading his character and his life history. His impulsive nature, his loving, sympathetic heart, his ambition and self-confidence, the history of his fall, his repentance, his labors, and his martyr death,---the Saviour read it all..." DA 139. This gift of discernment will be given to the final Remnant, the Elect of God, the Barley.

"Then those who feared the Lord spoke to one another, and the Lord gave attention and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before Him for those who fear the Lord and who esteem His name. 'And they will be mine,' says the Lord of hosts, 'on the day that I prepare My own possession (Jewels or Special Treasure), and I will spare them as a man spares his own son who serves him.' So you will again distinguish (discern) between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve Him." Mal. 3: 16-18. The KJV reads, "Then shall ye return." Return from where? The marriage supper of the Lamb, the Wedding feast.

Ok, what other gifts will we have? The ability to appear and disappear at will like Jesus did after the resurrection. This is called "thought travel," or travel by thought vibration. The ability to ascend and descend to the throne room of God and back again like Jesus did on the day of His resurrection. The ability to perform miracles of healing and foretell the future. You will also have an immortal body and probably look about 25 to 30 years of age. You will also be able to speak in all the languages of the world and appear to kings, presidents and dignitaries all over the world, going into the private quarters of their homes to speak with them about what they are doing. If you have seen Michael Landon on Highway to heaven you know what I mean. On this show he would appear to people in their homes and they would ask him, how did you get in my house? He would usually respond, Well, that really isn't the important thing here now, is it? Let's talk about your son. That's what's really important.' But who are you? 'Well, I am an angel from heaven sent to help you and your son.' You might be sent on missions to warn leaders of government that if they don't change their course they are headed for disaster.

You would have the ability to flash the past as well as the future before them using their living room wall as a screen. Your first job, should you be chosen and accept the assignment, would be to discern between the wise and foolish virgins in forty days. These wise virgins will become the 144,000. They will also ascend to heaven, like the first group, receive their gifts, and then return to join with the Barley company as well as all the dead from the special resurrection. Dan. 12:1-4.

This reaping of the Barley will probably take place in one day as they will only be a company. The wheat will be a larger group of 144,000, the wise virgins, and the reaping will take longer, probably weeks, just as the wheat harvest takes longer than the barley harvest. But at the end of the forty days they all will be perfectly united as were the 120 disciples in the upper room. They will wait ten days for the outpouring of the Latter Rain at which time they will be empowered mightily with the Holy Spirit to give the final message to the entire world for the final work...the reaping of the grapes, which represent the Gentiles. How many workers besides the barley (company like Gideon's 300) and the wheat (144,000) is not known, but I believe there will be thousands who will work in conjunction with them to go forth and give the last warning cry. I believe the following quote is referring to this very time. "Servants of God, with their faces lighted up and shining with holy consecration, will hasten from place to place to proclaim the message from heaven. By thousands of voices, all over the earth, the warning will be given. Miracles will be wrought, the sick will be healed, and signs and wonders will follow the believers. Satan also works with lying wonders, even bringing down fire from heaven in the sight of men. Rev. 13:13. Thus the inhabitants of the earth will be brought to take their stand." Great Controversy, Page 612.

I believe Psalm 91 applies to this same time period. Notice: "Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked....Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet. Because He hath set His love upon me, therefore will I deliver him; I will set him on high, because He hath known My Name." Ps 91:5-8, 13, 14. Also, check out Ps. 110:3-7. "Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power,...Thou art a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek. The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath. He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many (great) countries." Compare this with Psalm 2 which is absolutely a Messianic psalm referring to the barley and wheat (144,000). Notice: "Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel. Be wise now therefore, O ye kings; be instructed, ye judges of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling." Ps. 2:6-11.

Two days ago I mailed out my first flier for December. It contains a special message the Lord gave me which I want to share with you. But before I do that let me try and explain something to you. This message of the special resurrection and translation which will take place at the time Michael (Jesus) stands up (Dan. 12) for His people, is going to generate a great deal of interest because it is a message of deliverance from the coming Time of Trouble. But, remember that "many are called but few are chosen." This is what happened in the days of Gideon when only 300 were finally selected to fight the battle. The reason the ranks are going to dwindle down until only a few are left is because the majority of God's professed people will not accept the character of God message. And remember there are four levels of this message going up to Universal Reconciliation. (Here's a new one) Level five is the barley and 144,000. Only those with Christ-like love for the human race will be willing to agree with Jesus that they want to help Him rescue all the lost in the final hour and after the 1,000 years. This is what it means to have the "mind of Christ." Jesus will not be satisfied until all of His lost sheep are brought back to the fold. Isa. 53:11. "He shall see the travail of His soul and be satisfied." Do you think Jesus will be satisfied with anything less than total victory? If you do not agree with His plan to rescue them all, then, of course, you will not be willing to put on His special wedding garment, which is His righteousness...HIS RIGHT DOING, because that's what the righteousness of Christ means...that He is a God who does the right thing all of the time. Remember that Abraham asked the Lord, "SHALL NOT THE JUDGE OF ALL THE EARTH DO RIGHT?" Gen. 18:25. Our God is a righteous judge who always does the right thing. He is perfect in all His ways.

Now, let's apply this same reasoning to the Creation of this planet. Will not the Creator do the right thing in regard to all the creatures who have lived and died on this earth throughout the centuries? Yes, He will. He is going to do the right thing. But what is the right thing to do? Is it to burn the wicked in an everlasting hell forever and ever? No, that is not the right thing to do. Ok, then is it right for God to exterminate or annihilate, for all eternity, everyone who has not measured up? Would that be the right thing to do? No, it isn't. So, what is the right thing to do? The right thing to do is exactly what God has promised in His holy Word that He will do. "And the glory (character) of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it." Isa. 40:5. Cf. Rev. 15:1-4 where all nations surround His throne and praise Him. ALL NATIONS. This is the WILL OF GOD, which Nebuchadnezzar states in Dan. 4:35, that He does. "He doeth according to His will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, 'What doest thou?'" And what is the Lord's ultimate will for humanity? We read in 2 Peter 3:9 that our Lord Jesus is not a slacker, that is, slow in fulfilling His promise to Abraham to bless all the nations of the earth, "but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." 2 Pet. 3:9. Next, we read the fulfillment of this very event. "All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the Lord: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee...all they that go down to the dust shall bow before Him." Psalm 22:27-29. This is exactly what Paul says will happen in Phil. 2:6-11. "Every knee shall bow and every tongue confess to the glory of God the Father." The word "confess" in the original Greek is much stronger. It means, "to avow or affirm, and even to praise God." This could not be a forced or a faked confession or it would not bring glory to God. Furthermore, no one can confess the Lord Jesus unless the Holy Spirit leads him to do so. "No man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost." 2 Cor. 12:3.

The right thing to do is to bring them all back and give them the ultimate revelation of truth in a Lake of Fire, a lake of Divine purification. Charles Pridgeon in his book, "Is Hell Eternal or Will God's Plan Fail," has an excellent chapter on this topic. There is much proof that this is what God plans to do. Beloved, do you think the Lord Jesus would choose anyone to help Him preach the final message who believes He kills and destroys? This would be totally contrary to everything He taught and demonstrated in His life here on earth. If people who believe God destroys were given power, immortal life and all the gifts that I mentioned, they would want to use them to hurt and destroy those they believe are wicked and need to be taught a lesson and destroyed. This would be contrary to His own law which says, "thou shalt not kill/murder." Heb. 7:26 declares that Jesus is "Holy, harmless and undefiled." I hope you will pray and think about this matter because the harvest time is about to begin. Don't let it pass you by. Now, let's go into the newsletter.

DECEMBER NEWSLETTER.

Dear Friend and Supporter:

Three days ago I learned from a friend about this preacher on TBN (Trinity Broadcasting Network) who preached a sermon on the character of God...something to the effect that God's judgment will not be what they thought it would be...that God was not going to send people to hell to burn forever, or words to that effect. He entitled it, "THINK IT OVER." My friend said it was basically UR. I was shocked and decided to try and get a video on it, if possible. It took some time as this man was a pastor in a large church in the mid-west. I left a voice mail and the man's asst. called back and said that his boss, (the pastor) had indeed preached on this subject and they were getting reactions...flak!...so much so that he had been canceled off of TBN! These hell-fire pushers are very serious. I told him GLC had begun in 1970 and that I had been studying the character of God message on successive levels intensively since 1977. He begged me to send him everything I possibly could, as they needed help on this topic. I then gave him about a 20 minute explanation of God's character message and he took notes! He was excited! I was too. Then he related how his pastor had been led by the Lord to preach on this topic of God's character. He said he was watching the news one day during the Rwanda murder crisis. One of his children was sitting on his lap as he saw the CNN reports of all the people being slaughtered and little children homeless and starving to death. His heart was broken and he cried out to God, Oh, Lord, how could you let all those people die without the gospel and go to hell? Then God spoke to him and said: They are all in my hands and I am taking care of every one of them, or words to the effect that God had a plan for each one and they would be saved and not burn in hellfire forever. So, this was a direct revelation from God to this minister which prompted him to study and preach this sermon on TBN. As soon as I heard this I immediately knew that God wants this message to go to the world. Although I have been writing about this topic now for nearly ten years I did not think it was a subject the Lord wanted to be spread abroad to everyone. Then I began to realize what was happening. God was by-passing His own professed people and going directly to the world with this message. Incredible!

My front page article was just beginning to form in my mind. It was going to be about the "Marriage Supper of the Lamb" and the WEDDING GARMENT and why the man was cast out who didn't have one. As I continued to pray, study, research and write, the Lord directed me to Rom. 8:19-21. "For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God; for the creation was subjected to futility, not of its own will but by the will of Him who subjected it in hope; because the creation itself will be set free from the bondage to decay and obtain the glorious liberty of the children (sons) of God." I immediately realized this was another piece of the puzzle to be joined together with Rev. 11:15 and 12:10 regarding the forming of the final elect and/or Remnant which the Bible also refers to as "God's son" and Psalm 2 calls "My king" whom He sets upon His holy hill of Zion. Cf. Joel 2 & Mal. 3:16, 17. Then the timing came into focus. "And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Christos; and He shall reign for ever and ever." Cf. Rev. 12:10 which says: "And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation;, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down..." Here then, is the transfer of power from Satan to Jesus. And it occurs at the same time Jesus stands up, Dan. 12:1, 2. The special resurrection also takes place at this same time and the Barley or first fruits are translated and take the resurrected to heaven as their wave sheaf from the dead, just as Jesus did at the time of His resurrection.

This is the first stage of Christ's coming and the trip home to the Father's house for the Wedding Feast. Remember how I said before that they are there only six hours and then come back down to wake up all ten virgins, five of whom are wise and will become the 144,000, after 40 days of discernment, Mal. 3:16, 17. Then the 144,000, the wheat, are also taken to heaven...a mini translation, as it were, and they go to heaven and receive the same commission and gifts from the Father's throne to be able to speak in all the languages of the world and travel by thought vibration just like Jesus did after His resurrection, for we will have a body like His. Phil. 3:20. "Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto His glorious body..." This transfer of power causes Satan's kingdom/government to collapse, because He cannot hurt, kill or stop this army. And even the synagogue of Satan will come and bow down before them. Rev. 3:9. "He shall come to his end and none shall help him." Dan. 11:44. All of his followers, human beings and evil angels alike, realize they have been led astray/deceived/duped and desert him. They all turn against each other and the greatest slaughter in the history of the world takes place. "And I will call for a sword against him (all evil doers) throughout all my mountains (governments), saith the Lord God: every man's sword shall be against his brother. And I will plead against him with pestilence (Psalm 90, 91) and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him (Satan), an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. (7th plague). Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the Lord." Ezek. 38:21-23. This is also when God says, "IT IS DONE!" "And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, 'It is done.'" Rev. 16:17. The next verse then tells about the greatest earthquake of all time. Yesterday the Lord spoke to me directly and said, This is when I will bring the earth back to the same position on its axis that it was in before the flood when there was an even temperature all over the earth. That is when I realized this would be the beginning of the transfer of power and the restoration of the earth to its Edenic glory, that Romans 8:19 is talking about. It is progressive and begins with this earthquake but will be finished after the 1,000 years when Jesus re-creates the heavens and the earth. But it must begin with a select group of human beings whom God is able to infill with His own spirit, will, desire, purpose and objective to "restore all things" as they were in the beginning. Acts 3:21. Is this an exciting message or what? Yes, and I will be going into a lot more detail in my front page article, so please be praying as to what you can give to help me get this message out to the people."He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels." Rev. 3:5
